At the age of three, Meagan was diagnosed with Asthma, Epstein Barr and Chronic Fatigue syndrome. When Meagan’s EBV/CFS would flare she was placed on antibiotics, sometimes for months at a time. Steroid and non-steroid inhalers were given to her for her asthma . She would also suffer from sinus infections monthly.

In the last three years she has had approximately 10 nasal x-rays ,recently a Dr. told us that much radiation could cure a sinus infection.

We’ve found a Pediatrician that feels we needed to stop all antibiotics and x-rays unless she became very ill. In January 2000, Meagan began coughing a lot and became extremely tired. We ruled out the EBV/CFS. It was discovered that her fatigue was related to the reduced oxygen to her organs. He put her on a steroid inhaler for 3 months while she was being referred to an allergist and an ENT. The allergist ruled out all allergies and surgery to remove her tonsils and adenoids was scheduled for May 19,200O.

Dr. Jeffrey heard about Meagan and contacted us about his allergy work. We noticed a major improvement after his first treatment of Meagan which was before her surgery. She hadn’t had a sinus infection, stuffy or runny nose and her coughing had greatly reduced.

On June 23 Meagan’s 10th Birthday she took herself off of her inhaler. She has had NO breathing or coughing problems, even with a brush fire in our hills the smoke didn’t bother her.

We thank God everyday for Dr. Jeffrey. He has given us a healthy happy young lady. Even her Pediatrician is impressed with the fact that Meagan for the first time in 7 years has not been to a medical Doctor in over three months.

Last year I went to Dr. Jeffrey for the pain from sciatica - whoa, a killer massage that made me cry "Uncle" - but a few hours later, sitting in the car for a long ride home - I noticed - no more pain!  I went back regularly for quite a while. Before a trip to Alaska, knowing I'd have to sit for hours - I paid a "last visit" - with massage and his acupuncture - thinking it would have to last awhile. That was in June - here it is November and I'm still waiting for the pain to return. You have magic hands - elbows I think!!

Decided I'd have him treat me for allergies - being Asian and lactose intolerant, I thought, no way, could the good Dr. help! Well, many ice cream cones later - even clam chowder I'm becoming more people friendly. Everyone avoided good old Mom, after a glass of milk, a bowl of chowder - ice cream - anything with milk or cream. The magic is the difference of the good Dr. - I'll have to be forgiven for a rare toot - Yes, I believe in chiropractic and acupuncture. Life is great!

Miracle Baby

Dear Dr. Jeffrey,

Here is our miracle baby, thanks to you! After almost 4 years of trying to conceive with the help of fertility drugs, a patient of yours recommended you. With great reluctance, my husband and I decided "what could we lose?"

I started treatments with you in July of 1990 to regulate my irregular menstrual cycle. Then in the beginning of November you found that my uterus was tilted back. You worked on moving it back to where it was supposed to be and with great shock, I got pregnant 2 weeks later! My OB/GYN couldn't believe it when I asked for a pregnancy test at the end of December! The whole office was smiling when the result came up positive!

I certainly have changed my mind about chiropractic! If I didn't have living proof with my daughter here today, I would laugh at my friends who believed in chiropractic and you. And when Kayleigh is a little older, we want to bring her in to be adjusted, and we want her to know what a good friend she'll have throughout her life. In fact, our birth instructor highly recommended babies being adjusted. She had her 2 children adjusted right after birth because she believes that it lowers the chance of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome in the baby.

I can't sing you enough praises! If I could, I would stand outside your office and tell everyone how terrific you are, not only as a doctor, but as a person. You took the time to talk to me and didn't rush me in and out of your office!

Update 1993

Mrs. Nakamura had been trying to conceive a second child for 5 months. After talking to Dr. Jeffrey, she came in for a treatment and conceived that same month!! She gave birth to Bryttne in August 1993. After Bryttne she had no further problems in conceiving her next two children.

May 2000

Mrs. Nakamura brought in her 9 month old son, Bryce who had a persistent rash on his whole backside for 4 months. She didn't want to keep using the cortisone cream that was prescribed for him, since it only worked temporarily. I told her about the technique N.A.E.T. that I use. She brought Bryce in to the office to be treated. A couple of days after his first treatment she called me up amazed to tell me that the rash had almost completely cleared up.
